This time-honored feud reignited as both factions asserted their rightful claim to the vacant throne. "No Peace Without Spain" is a sophisticated two-player Card-Driven wargame that skillfully reconstructs this monumental struggle, utilizing a point-to-point map and a concise deck of 55 cards. The game employs action cards to set armies in motion for movement and sieges, while event cards introduce historical and special events that can unexpectedly shift the balance of fortune. Each turn mirrors a year of historical time, with each corps representing 10,000 men across various arms, and each leader standing in for a significant commander and his staff.
